Haru is an assistant teacher that followed Izumi Takatsugu to Seigetsu. Although Haru is polite and gentle, he is part of the Takatsugu Mafia, which is run by Izumi's father. When he was a teen, he was taken in by the Takatsugu family. Thus, he holds a very strong loyalty towards Izumi and his family, calling him "Bocchan". He is very skilled in fighting, second to only Izumi's father and older brother. Cats have a very strong attraction to him.
